Atmax Filtration Elements Inc

Industrial Fans & Blowers

Atmax designs and commissions centrifugal, axial, FRP and high-pressure fans for process industries where reliability, efficiency and precise duty-point performance aren’t negotiable.

An industrial fan for every duty condition

From general ventilation to corrosive, high-temperature and high-pressure gas handling every fan is selected and engineered against your actual flow, pressure and material-of-construction requirements, not a generic catalogue size.

01. Centrifugal Fans & Blowers

Backward curved, forward curved and radial-blade centrifugal fans for general ventilation, dust extraction and process air movement across a wide flow and pressure range.

General duty · MS construction

02. Stainless Steel Centrifugal Fans

SS304 and SS316 centrifugal fans built for corrosive fumes, food-grade air handling and hygienic environments where mild steel isn’t an option.

Corrosion & hygiene duty

03. Fiber Glass and Plastic Fans

FRP and PP fan casings and impellers for handling acid fumes, chlorine, scrubber exhaust and other chemically aggressive gas streams.

Chemical & scrubber duty

04. Axial Fans

Direct-drive and belt-driven axial flow fans for large-volume, low-pressure applications including tunnel ventilation, cooling towers and condenser duty.

High volume · low pressure

05. ID FD fans

Induced draft and forced draft fans engineered for boiler and furnace combustion air and flue gas handling, built for continuous high-temperature operation.

Boiler & furnace duty

06. DWDI Centrifugal Fans

Double width, double inlet centrifugal fans for high-volume applications where a single-width fan would demand an oversized, inefficient casing.

High volume · compact footprint

07. High Pressure Blowers

Multi-stage and single-stage high-pressure blowers for pneumatic conveying, aeration and processes demanding pressure well beyond standard fan ranges.

High static pressure

08. Bifurcated Fans

In-line axial fans with motor isolated from the airstream, purpose-built for moving hot, humid or contaminated gases without exposing the motor to the process.

Hot & contaminated gas duty

From drawing board to commissioning

Atmax fans are sized against your actual operating point,  flow, static pressure, gas temperature, density and particulate load, so the fan you receive runs at its efficient operating range instead of being throttled or over-driven.

Every unit is balanced, performance-tested and documented before dispatch, with drawings and datasheets handed over for your maintenance and statutory records.

Drive configurations- Direct / Belt

01. Duty-point engineering

Fans are selected and, where needed, custom-fabricated against your flow-pressure curve and gas properties rather than the nearest standard frame size.

02. Material matched to the gas stream

Mild steel, stainless steel or FRP construction chosen for the corrosive, abrasive or hygienic demands of your specific application.

03. Dynamic balancing on every unit

Impellers are dynamically balanced and static/mechanical run-tested before the fan leaves the shop floor.

04. Spares & after-sales support

Wear parts, replacement impellers and bearing housings are available for older installations, not just current models.

A single point of engineering responsibility across design, fabrication, testing and site support.

Share your flow, pressure, temperature and gas composition and our engineering team will recommend the right fan category, material and drive configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common types include centrifugal fans, axial fans, tube axial fans, vane axial fans, bifurcated fans, ID fans, FD fans, and high-pressure fans.

Fan selection depends mainly on required airflow (CFM), static pressure, temperature, gas composition, operating conditions, and installation requirements.

Yes. Industrial fans are commonly used as the air-moving equipment in dust collection systems. The fan must be selected based on the required airflow and system pressure loss.

Performance is generally evaluated using airflow, static or total pressure, fan speed, power consumption, and efficiency.

Yes. Regular inspection of bearings, belts, shafts, impellers, motors, vibration, and fasteners helps maintain reliable operation and prevent unexpected breakdowns.

Common causes include impeller imbalance, bearing wear, shaft misalignment, loose components, belt problems, or material buildup on the impeller.

Typically, the supplier needs required airflow, pressure, operating temperature, gas or air characteristics, application details, installation arrangement, motor requirements, and material specifications.

Service life depends on fan design, operating conditions, maintenance, and application. Proper selection and preventive maintenance can significantly extend fan life.

Yes. Industrial fans can be customized for airflow, pressure, temperature, material of construction, impeller design, drive arrangement, mounting, and specific process requirements.
